We would like to inform you of the following extracurricular internship opportunity with La Marzocco Srl, a renowned company based in Scarperia (Florence area, Italy).

Communication & Marketing Internship

Type: Extracurricular Internship
Commitment: Full-time
Duration: 6 months

Internship Description
The selected intern will support the Marketing and Communication Department in the following activities:

  • Help increase brand awareness for La Marzocco through event organization support (ed Fuorisalone) and assisting with “alliance marketing”, which means interfacing with external parties and brands to explore organic collaborations. 
  • Help in copywriting for consumer-facing content for the La Marzocco, Songwa, and sister-brand platforms (website, e-commerce, newsletter, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn channels), while reporting on the statistics of such communication platforms (% increase in follower or subscriber base and in engagements)
  • Help in the creative work and archiving of the marketing department’s work, by providing ideas and / or operational assistance in video-making briefs, generation of reels, campaign banners, selection and aesthetics of imagery / photos for mood-boards and product launches & collaborations. 
  • Help in hospitality arrangements, proposing tailored programs (an agenda) for universities and bloggers who visit the factory or Accademia del Caffe Espresso and coffee cities where our branches are based, so that we can offer guests tips on Lifestyle and Cultural attractions. 
  • Research the intersection between coffee and sports communities and events, where our company is mentioned and referenced (eg Winter Olympics) 
  • Research the intersection between Coffee and Design / Fashion / Foodie communities (restaurants, chefs, culinary celebrities and publications, influencers, architecture studios)
  • Help promote and sell Accademia classes and experiences to other businesses and to hotellerie / F&B schools.
